Beques FPI
- Full name: Ayudas para contratos predoctorales para la formación de doctores
- Description: The purpose of the grants is the training of doctors through the financing of employment contracts, under the modality of predoctoral contract, in order for researchers in training to carry out a doctoral thesis associated with a research project previously financed by the grants of the Ministry within the call for aid for R+D+i projects "Research Challenges".
- Call for applications: It is foreseen in October.
- Duration: 4 years
- Salary: from 16.640€ to 22.290€/year
- Complementary grant: 6.860 € will be granted in order to cover expenses related to stays in R&D centers and the registration in doctoral studies.

Ayudas FPU
- Full name: Ayudas para la formación de profesorado universitario (FPU)
- Description: These are grants aimed at research training in doctoral programs to obtain the title of Doctor and the acquisition of university teaching skills, in any area of scientific knowledge, which facilitate the future incorporation of these people into the Spanish higher education system, and of scientific research.
- Call for applications: It is foreseen from May to June.
- Duration: 4 years

Beques FI
- Full name: Ayudas para la contratación de personal investigador predoctoral en formación.
- Description: Call for the award of grants for students who want to earn their PhD from a Catalan University or Research Center.
- Call for applications: It is foreseen in October.
- Duration: 3 years

- Complementary grant: 3.000 euros for training activities and research stays.

Doctorados industriales
- Full name: Ayudas a Doctorados industriales (DI).
- Description: Grants to companies and research centers for the development of an industrial doctorate project, in which the doctor develops the research training, in collaboration with a university or research center, and which is the object of a doctoral thesis.
- Call for applications: Yearly calls for proposals covering all scientific fields (several deadlines).
- Duration: 3 years
- Salary: to be defined by the company hiring
- Complementary grant: A complementary grant of 1.872 € will be granted for the enrollment, as well as 6.600 € for research stays.

Consolidación investigadora
- Full name: Consolidación Investigadora 2022
- Description: Talent are aimed at training new generations of professionals to enable them to acquire the necessary skills for research and innovation in academic and business environments. In order to comply with the aforementioned objective, investment in human resources is considered a priority, both in the predoctoral and postdoctoral fields, professional progress through the stable incorporation of research, technologist and technical personnel to the university, scientific and business field, and the mobility of research staff in the public and private sectors.

“La Caixa” INPhiNIT
- Full name: Becas de doctorado “La Caixa” INPhiNIT.
- Description: INPhINIT is a new doctoral fellowship programme devoted to attracting international Early-Stage Researchers to the top Spanish research accredited host organisations with the Severo Ochoa or María de Maeztu distinction of excellence, any centre of the Carlos III Health Institute, and units considered to be excellent. INPhINIT is promoted by the "la Caixa" Foundation with the aim of supporting the best scientific talent and fostering innovative and high-quality research in Spain by recruiting outstanding international students and offering them an attractive and competitive environment for conducting research of excellence.
35 fellowships for early-stage researchers of any nationality to pursue their PhD studies in the best Spanish and Portuguese research centres and units with excellence distinction. This frame is addressed exclusively to PhD research projects on STEM disciplines: life sciences and health, experimental sciences, physics, chemistry and mathematics. - Call for applications: Yearly calls for proposals covering all scientific fields (It is foreseen in January).
