On October 14th, 2014, a delegation headed by Dr. Ecio Naves, Rector of the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia of Rondônia (IFRO), Brasil, visited CIMNE to strengthen relationships between both institutions and also to create the Aula (Classroom) IFRO-CIMNE in the Porto Velho Calama Campus of IFRO.
